Pepper Steak
- 1 boneless beef sirloin steak (1 lb.), 1/2 inch thick, fat trimmed Whole Foods 1 lb For $7.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into strips Target 1 pkg For $2.99 thru 02/06
- 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into strips Target 1 pkg For $2.99 thru 02/06
- 1 cup lite teriyaki sauce
- 3 cups hot cooked white rice
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Cut steak into thin strips.
- Place one fourth of the steak strips on center of each of four 18x12-inch sheets of foil; sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper.
- Top evenly with bell pepper strips; drizzle with teriyaki sauce.
- Bring up foil sides.
- Double fold top and ends to seal packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside.
- Place packets on grill; cover grill with lid.
- Grill 7 to 9 min.
- or until steak is cooked through and vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Serve over rice.
