No-Fail Yeast Rolls
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1-1/2 cup very warm water
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 pkg. white
- yellow cake mix
- 3 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
- Dissolve yeast in warm water in mixer bowl.
- Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add egg, sugar, oil, and salt and beat until combined.
- Add cake mix; continue beating adding enough of the flour to form a sticky dough.
- Turn dough out onto a floured surface and work just enough flour in to form a soft dough.
- Grease a large bowl with margarine.
- Place dough in bowl turning to coat both sides.
- Cover with plastic wrap.
- Let rise until doubled.
- Punch dough down and shape into desired rolls and let rise until doubled.
- Bake 375F for 12 to 17 minutes.
- Brush with melted margarine.
