Barbequed Chuck Roast Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. salad oil
- 3/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp. dry mustard
- 2 tbsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. pepper
- 1 c. dry red wine
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. finely minced parsley
- 3 to 4 pound chuck roast
- Combine first 9 ingredients to make a marinade.
- Place roast in a shallow pan and pour marinade over it.
- Let roast marinate about 4 hrs, turning meat frequently.
- Remove roast from marinade and place on grill; cook over warm coals about 30 to 50 min, basting often with marinade.
- Yield: about 8 servings.
