Chocolate Nut Brownies
- 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- No-melt unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 tbsp. liquid sweetener
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 cup nuts, chopped
- Melt shortening and chocolate over low heat.
- Remove from heat.
- Add liquid sweetener, vanilla and beaten eggs.
- Stir until well blended.
- Add flour and baking soda; mix well.
- Stir in nuts.
- Pour into greased (can spray with Pam) 8-inch cake pan.
- Bake at 325F for 20 minutes; cool.
- Cut into 30 squares.
