TAZO Organic Spicy Ginger-Poached Pears

  1. Mix water, sugar and ginger in medium saucepan.
  2. Add filterbags, star anise and lemon.
  3. Bring to boil on medium-low heat.
  4. Add pears; partially cover.
  5. Simmer 45 to 50 min.
  6. or until pears are tender.
  7. Remove pears from liquid; place in 4 dessert dishes.
  8. Bring liquid to boil; cook 30 min.
  9. or until liquid is reduced to 1-1/2 cups.
  10. Remove and discard filterbags, star anise and lemon.
  11. Drizzle 2 Tbsp.
  12. sauce over each pear.
  13. Refrigerate remaining sauce for another use.
