Creamy Caramel Apple Dip

• 2 Granny Smith apples, chopped
• 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
• 1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
• 24 KRAFT Caramels
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
• 1/4 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

1. Microwave apples and cinnamon in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 4 min.
2. ; stir.
3. Add half the apples to cream cheese in large bowl; mix well.
4. Place caramels in separate microwaveable bowl.
5. Add milk.
6. Microwave 1 min.
7. 40 sec or until caramels are completely melted when stirred.
8. Add to cream cheese mixture; mix well.
9. Gently stir in COOL WHIP; spread onto bottom of pie plate.
10. Top with remaining apples; sprinkle with nuts.
11. Refrigerate 30 min.
