Spicy-Sweet Salmon With Avocado Sauce

  1. Take your filets and coat them lightly with the Tabasco.
  2. Coat the filets with the cumin, sea salt, pepper, and chile powder
  3. Set those aside.
  4. Now we make the sauce.
  5. In a blender combine all the ingredients for the sauce together.
  6. Blend until creamy.
  7. Add the honey last to determine the right sweetness for yourself.
  8. You'll have a lot of sauce left over which is ok.
  9. It makes a great dip for some tortilla chips!
  10. Now heat a pan to medium heat on the stove.
  11. Place the filet in and let it sear for 45 seconds on each side.
  12. Remove from the heat and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  13. Return to the pan and cook the fish.
  14. Do not turn too often.
  15. It will take longer to cook and it won't let the brown sugar glaze.
  16. When the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork then it is done.
  17. Squeeze your lime juice over your fish and then spoon your avocado sauce over top.
  18. Garnish with cilantro sprig and then serve and enjoy!
