Ms. Spaetti's Impossible Taco Pie (kid friendly)

  1. KIDS USUALLY LOVE THIS RECIPE!!!!
  2. I used to work with families and I often had parents cook with their children and plan meals together.
  3. this was one of those survival meals I learned in home economics from Ms.
  4. Spaetti!!

  6. place 3/4 of a bag of corn chips in a ziplock bag.. zip it and approximately 4" open.
  7. let your kids beat the heck out of them until the are finely broken.... this is perfect for those chips that are starting to go stale..
  8. while they are doing this you can begin Browning the ground beef and onion..
  9. I did not add s&p because of the taco seasoning pack.
  10. drain... add salsa..
  11. spray baking dish with non-stick spray.
  12. pour crushed corn chips in a baking dish and cover bottom of pan with crumbs.
  13. spoon ground beef mixture on top of crushed corn chips trying not to move the chips around to much.
  14. put black olives on the top of ground beef.
  15. then cover it with cheese...
  16. mix eggs and milk in a sepeeate bowl.
  17. MIX WELL!!!
  18. pour mixture over casserole and put in the oven at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
  19. cheese should melt and just start getting bubbly.
  20. take out and let sit for 10 minutes.
  21. the crust should be like a tamale pie..
  22. I serve with a plain lettuce, tomato, and cheese salad.
