Beef Embul Recipe
- 450 gm Beef
- 25 gm Tamarind
- 75 ml Water
- 1/2 tsp Chilli pwdr
- 1/2 tsp White pepper
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 2 x Cm cinnamon stick
- 2 x Cm lemon grass
- Wash and cut beef into 2 cm cubes.
- Mix tamarind with water and remove seeds.
- Place tamarind water in a pan, add in chilli pwdr, pepper pwdr, salt, turmeric, cinnamon stick and lemon grass and mix well.
- Add in beef cubes and simmer over a medium heat till the meat is tender and the gravy has thickened.
- Remove the cinnamon stick before serving.
