Moist and Delicious Yogurt Banana Cake

  1. Soften the butter in the microwave by heating for about 20-30 seconds (500 W).
  2. Add the sugar and mix with a whisk.
  3. Whisk in the egg, then gently mix in the yogurt.
  4. Mash the banana with a fork and add to the yogurt mixture.
  5. Mix together with a rubber spatula.
  6. Sift the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon into the mixture from Step 3.
  7. Use a rubber spatula to combine with cutting motions.
  8. Line the pan with baking paper and pour in the dough.
  9. Smooth the top.
  10. Bake for about 30-40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180C (356 Fahrenheit).
  11. When a toothpick or skewer inserted into the center comes out clean, it's done.
