Moist and Delicious Yogurt Banana Cake
- 50 grams Butter
- 60 grams Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 100 grams Plain yogurt
- 1 1 regular sized Banana
- 100 grams Cake flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/3 tsp Cinnamon powder (optional)
- Soften the butter in the microwave by heating for about 20-30 seconds (500 W).
- Add the sugar and mix with a whisk.
- Whisk in the egg, then gently mix in the yogurt.
- Mash the banana with a fork and add to the yogurt mixture.
- Mix together with a rubber spatula.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon into the mixture from Step 3.
- Use a rubber spatula to combine with cutting motions.
- Line the pan with baking paper and pour in the dough.
- Smooth the top.
- Bake for about 30-40 minutes in an oven preheated to 180C (356 Fahrenheit).
- When a toothpick or skewer inserted into the center comes out clean, it's done.
