Grilled Flank Steak with Pickled Cabbage

  1. Heat grill to medium heat.
  2. Mix barbecue sauce and cider; pour over steak in shallow dish.
  3. Turn to coat both sides of steak.
  4. Refrigerate 30 min.
  5. to marinate, turning after 15 min.
  6. Meanwhile, combine cabbage and onions in large microwaveable bowl.
  7. Add water.
  8. Microwave on HIGH 10 min.
  9. or until vegetables are tender; drain.
  10. Add dressing and hot sauce; toss to coat.
  11. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  12. Drain steak; discard marinade.
  13. Grill steak 17 to 20 min.
  14. or until medium doneness (160 degrees F), turning after 10 min.
  15. Transfer steak to cutting board.
  16. Let stand 5 min.
  17. before cutting across the grain into thin slices.
  18. Serve with cabbage mixture.
