Alaska Sourdough Pancakes

  1. Put starter in large bowl.
  2. Add 2 cups flour and 2 cups milk.
  3. Mix well and cover.
  4. Leave in warm place overnight.
  5. Next morning take out 1 cup starter.
  6. Leave room temperature 12 hours.
  7. To remaining sponge add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon soda, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoon baking powder.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Cook on hot griddle.
  10. Serve with butter and maple syrup if desired.
