Mama's Plum Jam
- 1 lb. plums
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 lb. sugar
- Clean plums.
- Cook in water until skins are tender, about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Cool and remove stones.
- Add sugar, heat slowly until sugar is dissolved, then cook rapidly until thick.
- Partially cool, stirring occasionally.
- Pour into sterile jars and seal.
