Sesame Chuck Steak Recipe
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1/3 c. sesame seeds
- 4 med. onions, thickly sliced
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 beef chuck blade steak
- About 5 hrs before serving:
- Prepare marinade: In 10-inch skillet over medium high heat in warm salad oil, cook sesame seeds till golden brown.
- In 9x13 inch baking dish, mix sesame seed-oil mix, onions, soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, pepper and garlic.
- Trim excess fat from steak.
- Add in steak to marinade, turning to coat both sides.
- Cover and chill at least 4 hrs, turning steak occasionally.
- About 30 min before serving:
- Preheat broiler.
- Place steak and onions on rack in broiling pan; broil about 25 min or possibly till desired doneness, brushing frequently with marinade, turning steak once.
- Serve with French fries.
