Diabetic Dessert Recipe
- 1/3 c. butter, softened
- 1/4 c. brown sugar substitute
- 2 teaspoon liquid sweetener or possibly 1/3 c. Sprinkle Sweet
- 1 egg
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 3 tbsp. cocoa
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 c. skim lowfat milk
- Combine butter, brown sugar substitute, diabetic sweetener, and egg.
- Beat 2 min at high speed.
- Add in remaining ingredients and blend 2 min at low speed.
- Pour into 8 inch square pan and sprinkle with minced nuts.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min.
- Frost with diabetic whip, if you like.
