Magic Lemon Meringue Pie Recipe
- 8 inch graham cracker pie crust
- 15 ounce. Eagle Brand condensed lowfat milk
- 3 Large eggs, separated
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 6 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- For filling, blend lowfat milk and egg yolks.
- Gradually add in lemon juice, stirring till well blended.
- Pour into crust.
- For Never Fail Meringue: (2 Tbsp.
- sugar to the egg whites) Beat egg whites till stiff, add in remaining sugar, cream of tartar, vanilla and beat till glossy.
- Spread over filling and put into 350 degree oven till meringue is brown.
