Spicy Chili Salad

  1. Cook beef, onion, and green pepper in a large skillet until meat is browned, stirring to crumble meat; drain.
  2. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, and other seasonings; cook over low heat 5 minutes.
  3. Cool slightly.
  4. Place lettuce on individual serving plates; top with meat mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese; garnish with tomato wedges.
  6. We serve this with tortila chips.
