meatloaf & mushroom gravy

  1. in large bowl, combine ground meat, onion (except 2 teaspoons) & seasonings to taste.
  2. tear bread into small pieces, soak in milk until most of the milk is absorbed.
  3. in medium bowl, combine bread, eggs, ketchup, Worcester sauce & mustard.
  4. using hands, blend this mixture into meat.
  5. put meat mixture in baking dish, shape into loaf.
  6. bake at 400 f for 1 hour.
  7. while meatloaf is baking, saute mushrooms & remaining 2 teaspoons of onions in oil until tender.
  8. add flour & cook till light brown.
  9. add broth, simmer 10 minutes.
  10. slice meatloaf & top with mushroom gravy.
