Toffee Bars (Or Nut Bars)

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. LIne a 10x15-inch baking pan with foil.
  3. Arrange graham crackers in a single layer in the prepared pan.
  4. Combine the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Boil for exactly 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Drizzle over the graham crackers.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for exactly 5 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven.
  10. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
  11. After 1 minute, spread with a buttered spatula.
  12. Sprinkle with the toffee chips.
  13. Cool to room temperature.
  14. Chill until set.
  15. Cut or break into bars.
  16. Store the bars, covered, in the refrigerator.
