Apple Bran Muffins

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Toss first 5 ingredients (dry) together with a fork.
  3. Stir in orange rind, apples, raisins and nuts or seeds.
  4. Pour orange juice into 2-cup measure and add buttermilk to make 2 cups.
  5. Add to egg, molasses and oil and stir thoroughly. Stir liquid ingredients into dry ingredients with a few swift strokes.
  6. Pour into greased muffin tins, filling 2/3 full and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Makes 24 (2-inch) muffins.
