Hearty Chicken & Noodles

  1. Place chicken cubes, water, onion, celery leaves, parsley, bouillon, thyme, pepper, and bay leaf in a large Dutch oven. Bring to a boil then simmer for 20 minutes
  2. Add the noodles, carrots, and sliced celery. Return to boiling.
  3. Simmer covered for 20-25 minutes or until noodles are almost tender.
  4. Stir in 1 1/2 cups milk and peas.
  5. Combine 1/2 cup milk and the flour until smooth. Stir into noodle mixture. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
