Dorothy Mickan's German Potato Salad Recipe

  1. Boil potatoes, peel and slice while hot.
  2. Heat oil and cooked, minced onions in oil till tender; pour into potatoes.
  3. Add in vinegar, salt, pepper and water; mix well and let stand several hrs.
  4. This salad keeps well in the refrigerator.
  5. More vinegar or possibly salt may be added.
  6. This recipe comes from Dorothy's grandparents and was passed down through the generations.
  7. It has been a real favorite at many family functions through the years.
