Gg's Beef Pot Pie

  1. Make or purchase pastry for one pie crust.
  2. Combine first four ingredients.
  3. Coat meat and brown in oil.
  4. Add onions and celery.
  5. Cook five minutes.
  6. Gradually stir in beef stock.
  7. Add the bay leaf, cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes.
  8. Add potatoes and Carrots.
  9. Cook 20 minutes more.
  10. Turn into 1 1/2 quary casserole and top with pastry or biscuits.
  11. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes.
