Mashed Sides

  1. Place potatoes and pears in saucepan.
  2. Add enough water to completely cover ingredients in pan.
  3. Bring to boil on medium-high heat.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook 15 min.
  5. or until tender.
  6. Drain.
  7. Add butter; mash until butter is melted and mixture is well blended.
  8. Add cream cheese spread and nutmeg; continue to mash until creamy and well blended.
  9. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
