Fried Spiced Green Beans
- Dipping Sauce
- 2 cups BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce
- 2 cups KRAFT Peppercorn Ranch Dressing
- 2/3 cup OSCAR MAYER 18-22 Slice Count Raw Bacon Flat Pak, crisply cooked, finely chopped
- Beans
- 3 cups crushed butter crackers, finely crushed
- 1-1/3 cups OSCAR MAYER 18-22 Slice Count Raw Bacon Flat Pak, cooked, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 3 qt. fresh green beans, trimmed
- 8 each eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 qt. flour
- Dipping Sauce: Combine barbecue sauce, dressing and bacon; set aside.
- Beans: Mix cracker crumbs, bacon and seasonings.
- Toss beans with eggs in large bowl.
- Remove beans from bowl, reserving eggs in bowl.
- Coat beans with flour, then toss with remaining eggs.
- Coat evenly with cracker crumb mixture.
- Heat oil in deep fryer to 350 degrees F. Add beans, in small batches; cook 2 to 3 min.
- or until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with Dipping Sauce.
