Bourbon sauce
- 200 ml bourbon
- 1/4 tsp ground sage
- 1 tbsp dry mustard
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1/3 cup Heinz tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- In a pot heat butter.
- Add honey, sage, onion powder, garlic, salt, pepper, dry mustard, and ketchup.
- Bring to a simmer
- Simmer 7 minutes.
- Add sugar.
- Add bourbon bring to simmer 5 minutes stirring constantly.
- Let simmer very low heat, for 15 minutes.
- Add to ribs chicken chop and so on.
