Creamed Peas
- 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
- 2 ounces diced pimentos
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 12 cups frozen English peas
- 3 tablespoons chicken broth
- In a small bowl combine yogurt, flour, dill weed, pimiento salt & pepper; stir until smooth.
- Set aside.
- In small saucepan combine peas & broth; cover & bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat & simmer 5 minutes or until peas are tender.
- Stir in yogurt mixture; cook over low heat until thickened , stirring constantly.
