Pork Tonkatsu with Buttered Vegetables

  1. Poke the surface of the pork with the tip of the knife in 5 times.
  2. Season with salt and pepper for both sides.
  3. Coat with the flour evenly and make sure to tap it afterwards so that it wouldn't be covered with so much flour.
  4. Drench in the egg and coat it with breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the pork until its crispy and golden for both sides.
  6. This will take you for about 10 minutes.
  7. For the vegetables, melt the butter on the frying pan.
  8. Add the vegetables and saute it gently.
  9. When it's slightly cooked, add the soya sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  10. Best served with tonkatsu sauce and steamed rice.
  11. Enjoy!
