Ju's easy Naan
- 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 3 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp curd
- 1/2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp ghee or butter
- In a large bowl pour half cup warm water add 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon yeast.
- After 10 minutes, the water will look frothy, add 1 beaten egg, salt, sugar, curd and milk.
- Then slowly add the flour and knead for 8 to 10 minutes.
- add ghee or butter and knead until soft..
- Place in a well oiled bowl and cover with a damp muslin cloth and let it rise for an hour.
- After an hour, punch down the dough and make golf sized Balls and keep it in a tray and leave for 30 minutes.
- cover with the damp cloth.
- Now preheat the skillet and add minced garlic to the balls( optional) roll it super thin and put in skillet( u can cut it into triangle If u wish) close with a lid and leave for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, there ll be bubbles on the Naan.
- Apply butter on the uncooked side n overturn.
- Use only medium heat.Leave for 2 minutes and remove from skillet.
- Serve with Gravy or eat alone...
