Tomato Beef Stew Recipe

  1. Roll meat in flour.
  2. Brown in shortening in large heavy pan.
  3. Add in soup and water.
  4. Cover, simmer 1 1/2 hrs, stir now and then.
  5. Add in remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover, cook till vegetables are tender, about 1 hour.
  7. Cook uncovered for last 10 min to thicken.
  8. 4 to 6 servings.
