Italian Style Beans and Wienies
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 12 ounces, weight Italian Style Chicken Sausages
- 2 whole Shallots, Finely Diced
- 4 cloves Garlic, Finely Chopped
- 1 can (20 Oz. Size) Stewed Peeled Tomatoes In Sauce, Chopped
- 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, Roughly Chopped
- 1 teaspoon Dried Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Cannellini Beans, Drained
- 3/4 cups White Wine
- 1 cube Chicken Bouillon
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- In a large skillet heat the olive oil over medium high heat.
- Add the sausages and brown on all sides.
- Transfer to a separate plate, leaving the oil in the pan.
- Lower the temperature to medium and the shallots to the pan and saute until translucent.
- Add the garlic and saute another minute, making sure not to burn the garlic.
- Add the tomatoes, red pepper flakes, cannellini beans, white wine and chicken bouillon, Cook for about 5 minutes on medium.
- Add the sausages back to the skillet and lower temperature to medium low.
- Cook uncovered for about 15-20 minutes until sauce thickens stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
