Bohemian Beef Dinner Recipe
- 3/4 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 lb Beef stew meat, cut into 1" pieces.
- 2 Tbsp. Veg. oil
- 2 med Onions, minced
- 1 x Clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp Dill weed
- 1 tsp Caraway seed
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 c. Water
- 1 c. Lowfat sour cream
- 27 ounce Sauerkraut Additional paprika
- In a bowl or possibly plastic bag, combine flour, salt and pepper.
- Add in beef; dredge or possibly shake to coat.
- In a Dutch oven, brown the beef, half at a time, in oil; drain.
- Add in onions, garlic, dill, caraway, paprika and water.
- Cover and simmer for 2 hrs or possibly till meat is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in lowfat sour cream; heat through but don't boil.
- Heat sauerkraut; drain and spoon onto a serving platter.
- Top with the beef mix.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
