Baked Halibut Steaks With Jalapeno Grapefruit Vinaigrette Recipe

  1. To prepare the vinaigrette:Place the lemon in a food processor fitted with a steel blade and chop.
  2. Add in the rest of the ingredients and blend.
  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  4. Place the halibut steaks in a baking dish and pour the wine and chicken broth over the fish.
  5. Top with the sliced onions and thyme.
  6. Sprinkle with black pepper and chile pwdr and bake in a 400-degree oven, uncovered, 10 to 12 min or possibly till the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  7. Carefully lift the fish out of the pan and onto serving plates.
  8. Serve with the jalapeno grapefruit vinaigrette.
  9. SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Makes a nice meal with mixed brown, white, or possibly wild rice or possibly a hot pasta salad.
  10. You can also serve the jalapeno grapefruit vinaigrette with broiled chicken.
