Marinated Bonito Rice Bowl
- 380 grams Sashimi-grade or seared bonito sashimi
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 2 1/2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tsp Sake
- 2 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 Nori seaweed
- 1 Myoga ginger (if you like it)
- 1 generous amount Thin green onions or scallions
- 4 generous helpings Sushi rice
- Slice the bonito and marinate in the ingredients (grated ginger, mirin, sake, soy sauce) for 20 minutes.
- Massage with your hands several times while it marinates.
- (You can put everything in a plastic bag for this step if you prefer.)
- Put the sushi rice into bowls, cover the top with shredded nori seaweed, and top with the marinated bonito.
- Add some sliced myoga to taste and top with plenty of chopped green onion to finish.
