Asparagus And Walnut Salad Recipe
- 1 1/4 lb asparagus
- 1 tsp veg. oil
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. plum sauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 3/4 tsp mustard pwdr
- 1/2 c. Diamond Sesame Glazed Walnuts
- Trim asparagus; cut spears diagonally into 1 1/2-inch pcs.
- In a pan, heat 2 inches of water to boiling.
- Add in oil, salt, and asparagus; cook till tender-crisp, 1 to 2 min.
- Drain, rinse with cool water, and drain again.
- Pat dry with paper towels.
- Refrigeratetill ready to serve.
- Combine dressing ingredients in a bowl.
- Just before serving, pour dressing over asparagus, sprinkle with Diamond Sesame Glazed Walnuts and toss lightly to mix.
- This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings
