Tender Soup Roast & Gravy Recipe
- 1 beef roast
- 1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup plus 1 can water
- Mix mushroom soup and water in roasting pan.
- Sprinkle with onion soup.
- Place roast on top.
- cover with lid or possibly aluminum foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.
- Turn to 250 degrees and bake for approximately 6 hrs.
- NOTE: The soup makes the gravy.
- May need to thicken slightly with cornstarch before serving.
- Makes less expensive roasts tender.
