Lurlie's Old Fashion Stack Cake Recipe

• 1/2 c. molasses
• 2 Large eggs
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 2 1/2 c. flour, or possibly sufficient to thicken
• 1/2 c. Wesson oil
• 1 tbsp. ginger
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 c. buttermilk

1. Mix molasses, Large eggs, and oil, then sift dry ingredients into mix, add in buttermilk and mix.
2. Make about 5-6 thin layers.
3. Spread each layer with apple butter.
