Cheese-Stuffed Italian-Style Burgers
- 1/4 cup Miracle Whip Calorie-Wise Spread Family Dollar $3.50 thru 02/07
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 lb. (450 g) extra lean ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Cracker Barrel Shredded 4 Cheese Italiano Cheese
- 4 hamburger buns, toasted
- 4 leaf lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, cut into 4 slices King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 8 pickled hot pepper rings
- Heat barbecue to medium-high heat.
- Mix Miracle Whip and basil.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Combine meat and garlic; shape into 8 thin patties.
- Top 4 patties with cheese; cover with remaining patties.
- Pinch edges together to seal.
- Grill 7 to 9 min.
- on each side or until burgers are done (160 degrees F).
- Spread buns with Miracle Whip mixture.
- Fill with lettuce, tomatoes, burgers and peppers.
