United Cake of America
- 1.5 (18 1/3 ounce) packages white cake mix
- 3 egg whites (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 13 cup oil (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1 13 cups water (or as called for by your cake mix)
- 1 (3 ounce) package cherry gelatin
- 1 (3 ounce) package blueberry gelatin
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour 3 (8-9 inch) round cake pans.
- Line with parchment paper or waxed paper.
- Prepare cake mix according to pkg.
- Directions, halving ingredients for half package.
- Divide batter among three bowls.
- Beat cherry gelatin into 1 portion.
- Beat blueberry gelatin into another portion.
- Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 28 to 30 minutes, or until done.
- Cool in pans for 15.
- Remove from pans and cool on wire racks.
- To assemble, place blueberry cake layer on cake plate.
- Spread whipped topping over top.
- Place white cake layer on top.
- Spread whipped topping over top.
- Place cherry cake layer on top.
- Frost top and sides with remaining whipped topping.
- Chill until serving time.
