Corn Chowder
- 1 small onion
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon bouillon (I prefer beef or vegetable but chicken will work)
- 2 cups milk
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups frozen corn
- Saute onions in butter, than add flour.
- Add water, bullion, and milk, and bring to low boil.
- Add potatoes, cover, and keep at low boil for 15 minutes.
- Stir as needed.
- Add garlic, spices, and corn, cook for another 10 minutes.
