Sweet & Sour Pork Chop Skillet with Bacon
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
- 1 onion, cut into 8 wedges King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 4 slices finely minced OSCAR MAYER Bacon Rite Aid 2 For $7.00 thru 02/06
- 4 bone-in pork chops (1 lb.), about 1/2-inch thick
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup HEINZ Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 oz. (1/4 of an 8 oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- Heat dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add onion and bacon; cook and stir 5 to 8 min., or until bacon begins to crisp.
- Remove onion and bacon with slotted spoon; drain.
- Cook pork chops in drippings in skillet 2 to 3 min.
- on each side or until brown on both sides.
- Remove from skillet; keep warm.
- Discard drippings in skillet.
- Add tomato sauce, vinegar and sugar to skillet.
- Cook on medium-low heat, scraping bottom of pan to remove browned bits.
- Add cream cheese; cook until melted, stirring occasionally.
- Return pork chops to skillet; simmer 3 to 5 min.
- until heated through, turning once.
- Top chops with bacon and onion mixture.
