Stir-Fried Chicken Gizzards with Green Onion, Salt, and Lemon
- 300 grams Chicken gizzards
- 1 bunch Green onions or scallions
- 3 tbsp Sake
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Grated garlic
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 Black pepper (coarsely ground)
- Cut the chicken gizzards into bite-sized pieces.
- Cut the green onions into small round slices.
- Mix the ingredients in a bowl, and marinate the Step 1 chicken gizzards and green onions in the sauce for 10-15 minutes.
- Keep a small amount of green onions for garnish.
- Heat sesame oil (not listed) in a frying pan, and stir-fry the chicken gizzards.
- (Try not to add the marinade sauce into the pan.)
- When the chicken gizzards are cooked through completely, add the marinade sauce, bring to a boil, and turn off the heat.
- Serve on a plate, top with the green onions which were set aside earlier.
- Sprinkle as much as black pepper you like, and you're done.
