Beer Batter Bread Recipe
- 3 c. plus 2 tbsp. self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 (12 ounce.) can lite beer
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- 2 tbsp. molasses
- Blend flour and sugar in large bowl.
- Add in the beer gradually and blend into the flour mix.
- Add in raisins and drizzle the molasses into batter with fork.
- Let the dough rest for 10 min.
- Grease loaf pan or possibly 1 1/2 qt casserole dish.
- Place dough in and bake about 50 min in 350 degree oven.
- Makes delicious toast.
