White Chip Chocolate Cookies
- 1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 2/3 c. Premier white chips
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy.
- Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended.
- Stir in white chips.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8 to 9 minutes.
- (Do not overbake; cookies will be soft.
- They will puff while baking; flatten upon cooling.) Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
- Cool completely.
- Yield 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
