Chicken and Apple Cheesebake

  1. Butter a shallow ovenproof dish and place the chicken, cut into bite size pieces, in the bottom.
  2. Peel, core and slice 4 apples, fry then gently in the melted butter and put on top of the chicken.
  3. Season and pour the cheese sauce on top.
  4. Mix together the breadcrumbs and cheese and sprinkle the surface.
  5. Cut the remaining apple into rings, toss into the butter and arrange on top.
  6. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 200C/400F until crisp and golden.
