Aunt Hilda'S Brown Sugar Pound Cake

  1. Cream the margarine and Crisco well.
  2. Add sugar (mix brown and white sugars together).
  3. Beat real well.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating at least 1 per minute.
  5. Add flour and milk alternately. Stir in flavoring and nuts.
  6. Pour in greased and floured tube pan and place in cold oven.
  7. Turn to 325u0b0 and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  8. Do not open oven door until cake has baked at least 1 hour.
  9. (May need to be cooked 15 minutes longer.)
