Toll House Peanut Butter Golden Brownies Recipe
- 2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 c. butter, softened
- 2/3 c. smooth peanut butter
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 Large eggs
- 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. Nestle semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In small bowl combine flour, baking pwdr, and salt; set aside.
- In large bowl combine butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; beat till creamy.
- Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually beat in flour mix.
- Stir in 1/2 of the semi-sweet morsels.
- Spread proportionately into well-greased 15 x 10 x 1 baking pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees 35 min.
- Remove from oven; sprinkle top with remaining semi-sweet morsels.
- Let stand till morsels get shiny, then spread proportionately.
