Spaghetti and Meat

  1. Brown ground beef; drain.
  2. Add onions and garlic powder.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add pepper, canned tomatoes, tomato paste, water, and seasonings.
  5. Simmer for 1 hour.
  6. Heat water to rolling boil.
  7. Add salt.
  8. Slowly add spaghetti (broken into thirds).
  9. Stir constantly, until water boils again.
  10. Cook 10-12 minutes or until tender, stir occasionally.
  11. Do not overcook.
  12. Drain well.
  13. Stir into meat sauce.
  14. Pour into serving pans.
  15. Portion 1 1/2 cup per serving.
