Hanpen Fish Cakes and Shiso Leaves Rolled in Pork
- 12 slice Thinly sliced pork
- 1 Hanpen
- 6 leaves Green shiso leaves
- 2 to 3 Umeboshi
- 1 Plain flour
- 1 Vegetable oil
- Cut the shiso leaf vertically.
- Cut the hanpen in half, then continue cutting until you have 6 pieces.
- Mash the flesh of the umeboshi (salt-cured plum).
- Lightly cover the pork in flour.
- Layer on the shiso, umeboshi, and hanpen and roll it up.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Line up the rolls, edge side down, and cook until browned.
