Mississippi Queen Bread Pudding Recipe

  1. In small bowl, soak raisins in amaretto several hrs or possibly till plump.
  2. In large bowl, tear bread into 1/2-inch cubes.
  3. Combine and add in fruit juices and let soak till all liquid is absorbed.
  4. Add in raisins and fruit cocktail.
  5. Turn into greased shallow 1-qt casserole.
  6. In separate bowl, beat Large eggs with sugar, add in whipping cream, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  7. Pour over bread mix.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 min or possibly till knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Serve hot or possibly chill.
  10. Makes 6 servings.
